1. Cilantro Mint Sauce

Cilantro Mint Sauce recipe

One of my favorite ways to prepare lamb chops is by adding a cilantro mint sauce on the side.

I love how it juxtaposes the freshness of the mint with the richness of the lamb, letting you savor both.

For this recipe, you’ll use a combination of cilantro and mint leaves, but feel free to experiment with other herbs as well.

The other ingredients you can use include:

  • 2 teaspoons ginger (minced)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon honey
  • 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup mint leaves (chopped)
  • ¼ cup cilantro leaves (chopped)
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

When you’ve gathered all your ingredients, give them a good blending until they turn into a smooth condiment.

After that, place the sauce in a small bowl, taste it, and adjust the seasoning to suit your liking.

The cilantro-mint sauce also works nicely with dishes like roast chicken or shrimp.

2. Honey Mustard Sauce

Honey Mustard Sauce recipe

If you’ve ever been to a fancy restaurant and tasted their honey mustard sauce, then you know that it can be the best thing in the world.

However, did you know that it’s also good on lamb chops?

This sauce adds a little sweetness, some tanginess from vinegar, and an extra richness from butter.

It’s the perfect topping for any lamb chop—and it’s so easy to make!

And if all of this hasn’t convinced you yet—it only takes less than five minutes from start to finish!

The best part is just how easy it’s to make at home!

All you’ll need is the following:

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey

Simply place your ingredients in a bowl and whisk, whisk, whisk! Et voila!

You’ve got your very own honey mustard sauce.

You can then use this sauce to coat your favorite lamp chop dish or even add a little kick of flavor when you roast some veggies.

This recipe is so easy that once you make it, you’ll never want to return to using store-bought again.

And if all of this hasn’t convinced you yet—it only takes less than five minutes from start to finish!

3. Chimichurri Sauce

You’re probably wondering, “Chimi-cui-who-ree?” Well, chimichurri sauce is like the Beyoncé of sauces.

You can dress up a steak, chicken, or eggs with it.

You can even use it as a marinade for your favorite meat!

And if you’re feeling fancy, you can drizzle this sauce on top of rice or vegetables.

It’s an all-in-one sauce that consists of olive oil, vinegar, herbs—typically parsley and oregano—and a little bit of garlic.

Making it yourself is surprisingly simple and fun!

You can put it on almost anything, and the results are always delicious.

For example, chimichurri and lamp chops are meant for each other, like two peas in a pod!

But what’s chimichurri sauce exactly?

Well, let me tell you! It’s made of:

  • 1 red jalapeño (chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • 2 tablespoons oregano (chopped)
  • ¼ onion (chopped)
  • ½ cilantro (chopped)
  • ¼ cup parsley (chopped)
  • ½ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¾ cup extra-virgin olive oil

Let’s get this party started by combining shallots, red jalapeño, garlic, vinegar, onion, and salt in a medium bowl.

Let them sit for about 15 minutes, and then whisk in the oil.

After that, you can add cilantro, parsley, and oregano.

Chimichurri is really versatile: you can use it as a dip for chips or vegetables, or you can use it as an ingredient in soups.

You can even eat it straight out of the bowl with a spoon (I won’t judge).

4. Salsa Verde

Salsa Verde recipe

Salsa verde is the perfect condiment for your next backyard BBQ or family dinner.

It’s got a little bit of heat, just enough to tickle your taste buds and make them come alive.

It’s also got a little bit of freshness, thanks to that zingy onion flavor that makes you want to keep eating!

And it’s got a little bit of tartness from the fresh cilantro.

But most importantly, salsa verde goes amazingly well with meat.

It complements everything from chicken to steak by adding an element of spice that balances out any overly sweet or salty flavors in your meal.

I’ve never been one to let the fact that I’m not a master chef get in the way of my culinary adventures.

I mean, I’ve had some pretty disastrous meals in my day —some of which ended up being eaten by my dog —but I always try to take the experience and learn from it!

After toying with a few ingredients, I found a salsa recipe that left me tapping my toes and humming to myself all night.

Here’s what you’ll require to make it:

  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ½  cup fresh basil
  • ¼ cup fresh mint
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Place all the ingredients in the blender and pulse until you reach the right consistency.

Serve over warm lamp chops, and enjoy!

5. Tahini Sauce

Tahini Sauce recipe

Of all the lamb chop sauce recipes in my head, tahini sauce is the one I come back to again and again.

Why, you ask?

Because it’s easy and delicious!

Plus, the nutty flavor will complement any meat that you’re serving, including the delicious lamb chops!

The first time I had it, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

The second time, I was shocked that I’d ever eaten a lamp chop without tahini sauce before!

By the third time, well… let’s just say that it was no longer a question of whether or not I’d eat tahini sauce with my lamp chops.

The only question was whether there would be enough tahini sauce for everyone.

Just prepare these ingredients:

  • 4 cloves garlic (pressed or minced)
  • 6 tablespoons water (you might need to add more later)
  • ⅛ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup tahini
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

In a bowl, pour the lemon juice and add the garlic.

Let it sit for about ten minutes so that the flavor of the garlic permeates the liquid.

Then, pour the mixture through a strainer into another bowl.

After that, you should add the tahini and cumin, followed by salt and black pepper.

Whisk like the wind until you have a smooth mixture.

Then keep adding one tablespoon of water at a time until you have a perfectly creamy tahini sauce.

Now, you have a delicious tahini sauce!

6. Mint Hollandaise Sauce

Hollandaise sauce isn’t a sauce you can whip up when you’re in a rush.

It’s a sauce that demands your full attention, or you might end up with something closer to scrambled eggs than a rich, velvety sauce.

However, it’s worth the effort!

The result is so rich and creamy that it will leave your guests feeling like they’ve just eaten their weight in minty butter.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need for this recipe:

  • About 12 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh)
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg yolks

Melt the butter by cutting it into large pieces and placing them in a small saucepan over low heat.

Once it’s all melted, remove it from the saucepan into a bowl to keep it warm but not piping hot.

Now, blend the lemon juice, egg yolks, and salt.

With the blender running and the top open, slowly drizzle in a thin stream of warm butter.

Once you’ve added about half the butter, check the sauce for smoothness.

If the sauce looks good, you can pour the rest of the butter.

When done, the hollandaise should be a delicate yellow color and as smooth as butter.

7. Sweet Chili Sauce

Sweet chili sauce is like a little firecracker of flavor—it’s got the heat, but it also has the sweetness.

Its balance of sweet and spicy makes it the perfect addition to any dish that needs a little extra oomph.

One of the best parts about this sauce is that it’s versatile.

There are so many ways to use it, from dipping spring rolls to slathering on chicken breasts before grilling them.

And, of course, you can use it on lamb chops to give them that extra kick!

8. Horseradish

Do you know what’s a delicious dip? Horseradish sauce.

I know, I know—it’s not the most appealing name in the world.

It sounds like something a horse would make for its lunch or something out of a Dr. Seuss book.

However, horseradish sauce isn’t only perfect on hamburgers and lamp chops, but it’s also great on sandwiches and salads.

So if you’re looking for something zingy but savory to add to your meal, this is it!

9. Aioli

Aioli is a thick, creamy sauce made from garlic and olive oil.

It’s perfect for dipping bread into or adding to dishes like fish and meat.

You can say that this is the fancy way to make yourself a unique creamy garlic dip!

So, if you’re a garlic lover and have never had it before, you should definitely try it.

It’s amazing on almost everything and will certainly go well with the lamp chops!

10. Mango Chutney Sauce

Now, it’s time to break a little bit out of tradition and head into new territory.

Mango chutney sauce is a great way to mix up your dinner routine and impress your friends.

Moreover, you can use it with all kinds of meats.

I recommend you use it with lamb chops or even chicken breast if you’re feeling adventurous!

Just remember: if you’re going to use mango chutney sauce on lamp chops, make sure it’s not too spicy!

After all, you don’t want to overpower the meat’s flavor.

11. French Onion Dip

French onion dip is the best. You can’t go wrong with that creamy, salty, oniony goodness.

It’s a little salty and a little sweet, but not too much of either.

It’s creamy, with a nice tangy flavor that lingers on your tongue after you’ve swallowed it.

But it’s also got kind of a funky aftertaste that makes you want to take another bite!

It’s definitely a must-try!

12. Basil Pesto Sauce

When you think of pesto, it’s easy to imagine a plate of pasta.

But pesto can be used in so many different ways!

For example, you can use it to dip your lamb chops in it!

So if you’re looking for a fresh, flavorful sauce that’ll make your mouth water, look no further than this pesto recipe.

This unique blend of basil, garlic, and pine nuts is guaranteed to be the star of your next meal!

13. Mushroom Gravy Sauce

There are a few things that you absolutely need to know about mushroom gravy sauce:

  • It’s not just for lamb chops. You can use it on pretty much anything.
  • It’s not something that you make in a few minutes. It takes time, but it’s worth it.
  • And the best part is that the longer you let it sit, the better it gets!

It’s a great way to add some flavor and texture to your meal.

Plus, it’s an excellent way to use up any leftover mushrooms (which of course you can use for extra lamb chops during the week!).

14. Pineapple Dipping Sauce

Pineapple Dipping Sauce

I don’t know if you’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying these two items together, but I can tell you from experience that it’s a match made in heaven.

At first glance, it might seem like an odd pairing—two things that don’t seem to fit together at all. But trust me: they do!

They’re both sweet and savory at the same time; one is a little bit sour, and the other is very savory.

You get all those different flavors in one bite, and then when you take another bite, there’s just more of that tart sweetness waiting for you.

I mean, how could anyone resist?

15. Romesco Sauce

Last but not least, we have the romesco sauce!

This tangy, spicy, garlicky sauce is made from tomatoes, almonds, olive oil, and red peppers.

It’s perfect for drizzling over lamp chops, chicken, or just about anything else you can think of.

It’s also great for sandwiches and salad!

It’s so versatile that it almost doesn’t matter what you make with it—your dish will be delicious!

As you can see, there are many ways to make a dipping sauce for lamb chops.

You can use something as simple as honey, mustard, and a little bit of lemon juice with salt.

Or you can get really fancy with it—using your own unique blend of spices and herbs, or even using fruit like blueberries.

The sky’s the limit!
