  • 6 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 1/2 tsp Active dry yeast
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Melt the butter with milk in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Let it cool to about 115°F.
  • Sprinkle yeast over and let it sit for around 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  • Add the yeast mixture to form a dough.
  • Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  • Sprinkle the mixture over the dough evenly.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log.
  • Place it in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for another 45 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and bake for 40 minutes until the bread is golden brown.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
