Combine the ground pork, chopped shrimp, egg, soy sauce, grated ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Mix until well integrated.
Place a teaspoon of filling at the center of each wonton wrapper.
Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal.
In a pot, bring the chicken stock to a boil over medium heat.
Add the wontons into the pot carefully.
Cook wontons for about 4 to 5 minutes, until they float to the top and are cooked through.
Serve the wontons in bowls with the hot broth.
Sprinkle sliced green onions on top.
