Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Set aside for later use.
In another bowl, beat butter until creamy, then add both sugars.
Mix on medium-high speed until the mixture turns light and fluffy.
Reduce the mixing speed to low and add the eggs one at a time.
Add vanilla extract and melted chocolate, then gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
Fold the chocolate chunks into your cookie dough.
Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Place them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
Let cool before serving.
