Buffalo Wild Wings Blue Cheese Recipe

If you want a blue cheese dip that’s rich, creamy, and ready to steal the most attention, this one is it guys!
The biggest secret is to use a mix of creamy blue cheese and a crumblier, sharper one for the best balance.
I mix the dressing by hand instead of blending it because it keeps some nice little chunks of cheese throughout.
Using sour cream with a splash of buttermilk gives the dip that smooth, tangy base without it feeling heavy.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. BLUE CHEESE crumbled
  • 1 cup SOUR CREAM
  • 1/2 cup MAYONNAISE
  • 2 tbsp BUTTERMILK
  • 1 tbsp LEMON JUICE
  • 1/2 tsp GARLIC POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp ONION POWDER
  • 1/2 tsp SALT
  • 1/4 tsp BLACK PEPPER

Instructions

  • Add sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk to a medium mixing bowl.
  • Whisk everything until it’s smooth—makes folding in the cheese way easier.
  • Drop in the crumbled blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir gently, mashing some of the blue cheese with your spoon to get that creamy-chunky vibe.
  • Taste and tweak the seasoning if you need to. I sometimes add a bit more lemon juice for extra tang.
  • Cover and chill the dip for at least thirty minutes so the flavors can hang out together.
  • Give it a stir before serving. If you like it extra chunky, toss a few more blue cheese crumbles on top!
