Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until it’s softened and lightly browned.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, 1/4 cup of ketchup, cooked onion, salt, and black pepper.
Mix until all ingredients are fully combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
