Pioneer Woman Shepherd's Pie Recipe

Shepherd’s pie done right means a rich, meaty filling topped with mashed potatoes that bake up golden and crisp!
And yep, that's Pioneer Woman's version my friends.
For hers, cooking the ground beef or lamb with onions and garlic builds a solid base for the dish.
Whipping the mashed potatoes with butter and a little milk makes them smooth enough to spread easily.
Brushing the top with melted butter before baking gives it that crispy, golden crust.
