Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Onions chopped
  • 1 small Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 Jalapeño Pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seed
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 can Tomatoes 32 oz.
  • 2 cans Kidney Beans 15 oz., drained
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot.
  • Add the chopped onions and bell pepper.
  • Cook until they soften, about 7 minutes.
  • Stir in the jalapeño and minced garlic.
  • Continue stirring for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the cumin seed and ground turkey to the pot.
  • Cook until the turkey is browned.
  • Pour in the tomatoes and kidney beans.
  • Include the chili powder and mix everything well.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Let the chili simmer for about 30 minutes to blend the flavors.
