- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Onions chopped
- 1 small Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 1 Jalapeño Pepper chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seed
- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 1 can Tomatoes 32 oz.
- 2 cans Kidney Beans 15 oz., drained
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large pot.
Add the chopped onions and bell pepper.
Cook until they soften, about 7 minutes.
Stir in the jalapeño and minced garlic.
Continue stirring for another 2 minutes.
Add the cumin seed and ground turkey to the pot.
Cook until the turkey is browned.
Pour in the tomatoes and kidney beans.
Include the chili powder and mix everything well.
Season with salt and pepper.
Let the chili simmer for about 30 minutes to blend the flavors.
