McDonald's Caramel Frappe Recipe

This caramel frappe is the best way to bring that café-style iced coffee home!
The McDonald's version has just the right mix of smooth coffee, creamy texture, and a rich caramel drizzle.
Blending the ice properly is key—too little, and you won’t get that thick, frosty consistency.
I always chill the coffee beforehand to keep the ice from melting too fast in the blender.
The best part is the caramel drizzle on top—adding a little extra on the inside of the cup makes every sip even better!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coffee strong, brewed
  • 1 cup Milk whole or skim
  • 3 tbsp Caramel Sauce
  • 2 cups Ice
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • Whipped Cream optional
  • Additional Caramel Sauce for Drizzling optional

Instructions

  • Brew a cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Cold brew is also an excellent choice if you have time.
  • In a blender, combine the cooled coffee, milk, caramel sauce, sugar, and ice.
  • Blend the mixture until it is smooth and creamy, adjusting the sweetness if needed by adding more sugar.
  • Pour the blended frappe into a tall glass, leaving some space at the top.
  • Top it off with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce if you're feeling extra indulgent!
