Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
Sieve flour and salt together into a large mixing bowl. Start with 3 cups, then add a little more if needed.
Add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix well to form a sticky dough.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10-15 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a damp cloth.
Let it rise in a warm place for 20-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Shape the dough and place it in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Cover and let it rise again for another 20-45 minutes until it doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F and bake for another 30 minutes.
