Joy of Cooking Irish Soda Bread Recipe

Irish soda bread is one of those timeless recipes that brings warmth and comfort to your kitchen.
I love how simple and quick it is to make, with no yeast required. Perfect for beginners!
A key trick is to add buttermilk to your dry mix, creating a dough that’s both moist and slightly tangy.
One thing I adore about this recipe is the lovely crust it forms, with a soft interior that pairs wonderfully with some butter or jam.
