Gordon Ramsay Meatloaf Recipe

Gordon Ramsay's meatloaf is on I'd have on page one of my recipe book if I were you! It's just SO good.
You'll be combining meats like ground beef, veal, and pork, blended with breadcrumbs, milk, and spices to form a rich and savory loaf.
I recommend adding a tangy glaze for a burst of flavor, making sure you balance the sweetness with a bit of acidity.
Remember to let it rest for a few minutes after baking to make slicing smoother and keep the juices locked in.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • If you haven't done this yet, now's the time to grease your loaf pan.
  • A 9-inch loaf pan works great for this recipe.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, and chopped onion.
  • I find using a wooden spoon or clean hands works best.
  • The goal is a nice, even mixture.
  • Next, add eggs and milk to the meat mixture.
  • Make sure everything is well blended.
  • This step helps keep your meatloaf moist and perfectly textured.
  • Pack your meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard for the glaze.
  • Spread this evenly on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving for the best flavor.
